This website is operated by Basic Benefits, LLC (“Basic Benefits,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), 917 Lily Creek Rd, Louisville, KY 40243.
DirectRate is a marketing entity that promotes the programs described on this site to its contracted agents. Basic Benefits administers the programs described on this site.
Basic Benefits operates a web-based platform that simplifies employee benefits management, including access to health and benefit solutions. Information about available programs, benefits, eligibility, rates, and enrollment is provided through the site and related enrollment processes.
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
02 · Information on This Site
Plan descriptions, benefit summaries, rates, and other information on this site are provided for general informational and marketing purposes only.
Rates displayed by any rate or quoting tool on this site are estimates based on the information provided. They are not offers of coverage, guarantees of eligibility, or final pricing. Actual rates, benefits, eligibility, and other terms are subject to the applicable program and enrollment requirements and may differ from information displayed on this site.
Information presented on this site may be changed, corrected, or updated without notice.
Nothing on this site should be understood as a guarantee that any particular individual or group will qualify for, be enrolled in, or receive any particular benefit or rate.
03 · Enrollment Is Governed Separately
Enrollment takes place through a separate process. The documents presented to you during enrollment—including any enrollment agreement, program documents, recurring payment authorization, disclosures, attestations, or other documents you sign or accept—govern your enrollment, membership, benefits, and payment obligations.
If there is a conflict between information presented on this website and the documents governing your enrollment or membership, the applicable enrollment or program documents control.
No coverage, membership, or other program participation is created solely by accessing this website, submitting information through a quoting tool, or communicating with Basic Benefits or DirectRate. Coverage or membership, if applicable, becomes effective only in accordance with the applicable program and enrollment documents.
04 · Text Messaging
If you opt in to receive text messages from Basic Benefits, the following terms apply:
Consent. You consent to receive text messages at the mobile telephone number you provide. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchase or enrollment in any plan or program.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies.
Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.
Cancellation. You may text STOP at any time to cancel text messages. After you send STOP, you will receive one confirmation message, after which you will receive no further text messages unless you later opt in again. To resume receiving messages, text START.
Help. Text HELP for assistance, or contact Basic Benefits at 855-617-8205 or info@basicbenefits.com.
Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Our handling of mobile information is described in our Privacy Policy.
05 · Compliance
Our messaging program is operated in accordance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and applicable industry guidance.
DirectRate’s marketing activities and communications may be subject to additional requirements applicable to marketing, advertising, insurance, benefits, or other regulated activities. DirectRate and its contracted agents are responsible for complying with laws and requirements applicable to their own activities.
06 · No Warranty
This website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Basic Benefits does not warrant that the website or its content will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, complete, accurate, or current. We do not warrant that the website will meet your particular requirements or that defects will be corrected.
Information and content on the website may change without notice.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
07 · Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Basic Benefits and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, service providers, and representatives will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or relating to your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, this website or its content.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Basic Benefits’ total liability arising out of or relating to your use of this website will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Basic Benefits, if any, for access to the website during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $100.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
The limitations in this section apply regardless of the legal theory on which a claim is based, including contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise, even if Basic Benefits has been advised of the possibility of the damages.
08 · DirectRate and Third-Party Activities
DirectRate is a marketing entity that promotes the programs described on this website to its contracted agents. DirectRate is not the administrator of the programs described on this site.
The relationship between Basic Benefits, DirectRate, and any contracted agent does not create a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, or agency relationship between Basic Benefits and any particular agent unless expressly established in a separate written agreement.
Information, representations, or communications provided by DirectRate or its contracted agents are subject to the agreements and requirements applicable to those parties. Basic Benefits is responsible for administration of the programs as described in the applicable program and enrollment documents.
